It is my distinct pleasure to offer my endorsement of EJ Crandell for District 3 Supervisor, County of Lake, CA. Having known EJ for seven years and observed his dedicated service within our community, I can confidently attest to his unwavering commitment to honesty, integrity, and public service. 

Just as importantly, I have seen firsthand his deep respect for our land, water, and natural resources — the very foundation of Lake County’s future. EJ understands that Clear Lake, our creeks, oak woodlands, and working landscapes are not just scenic backdrops — they are living systems that sustain our economy, our wildlife, and our way of life. 

He has demonstrated a consistent willingness to support projects that protect channel health, improve water quality, and strengthen environmental stewardship in District 3, especially here in the Clearlake Oaks Keys area. His use of discretionary funds to help address channel health costs reflects not only fiscal responsibility, but also a recognition that environmental care and community well-being go hand in hand. 

In an era where trust in leadership is paramount, EJ stands out as a person of true character. Throughout his career, he has operated with transparency and an ethical compass that guides every decision. His past service is not merely a line on a resume, but a testament to his dedication to our shared future: he is a decorated U.S. Army veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and since 2019 has continued to show up for District 3 with steady leadership and thoughtful decision-making. 

Raised on the Robinson Rancheria, where respect for land and community is deeply rooted, EJ served as Tribal Chairman (2015–2020) and Vice Chair. That background brings a valuable perspective on stewardship, collaboration, and long-term responsibility for the next generation. I am confident that EJ will bring this same dedication, accountability, and environmental awareness to the continued role of District 3 Supervisor for our great county.
